FC Nova Youth League - Coaching Certification Courses

Stop! Currently, there are NO coach certification classes scheduled for Spring 2011.

The FC Nova Soccer Club believes that children benefit from having well-trained coaches. With this in mind, our club hosts numerous certification courses and other training opportunities for the coaches in our Youth League and Club Team programs. These certification courses are also open to coaches from other clubs and organizations, as part of FC Nova's commitment to the soccer community.

To participate in one of the Coach Certification Courses listed below, you must complete both steps:

  1. Register Online using the Pre-registration Form found at the bottom of this page, and
  2. Download and Complete the IYSA Coaching Course Application/Med Release Form.

The IYSA Coaching Course Application/Med Release Form needs to be turned in to the instructor at the first session of each course.

Youth Module I and II courses are held at:

Theory of youth development through 8 years of age. Skill-builders, methods of coaching and practical practice ideas for the beginning coach. Also includes an intro to team management. (3.5 hours)
Youth Module II No sessions are currently planned for Spring 2011

Theory of youth development through 10 years of age. Practical activities to build technique and to develop motor skills. Also includes an intro to team management. (3.5 hours).
